What are Kettlebells?

A kettlebell is kind of like a cannonball with a handle.  Training with kettlebells can make you functionally strong from your head to your feet. Kettlebells can strengthen your whole body. They don’t create weaknesses by isolating muscles. In other words, they don’t just create muscles for show; they create muscles for action. They can increase your flexibility and give you the ultimate cardio workout. They can even help rehabilitate your body from old injuries. The best thing about kettlebells is that they make training fun.


What is the RKC?

 

The RKC is a "hard style" of kettlebell training born in the spec ops of the Soviet Union.  This "hard style" chooses power over efficiency and chooses techniques proven to be most effective in all-out efforts, regardless of what the kettlebell weighs.   

The RKC also teaches you how to get stronger by compressing your muscles harder.  This is important because tension is strength.
